We’re really Not managing To get very far Stopping As often as we do To be in each other’s arms It’s not only Because it’s cold The winter snow Drifting upon the dunes That strong North wind Coming off Lake Michigan The white wool cap Around your long blond hair Now if in fact Our pauses mean We don’t in the end Ever get back at all Well My summer girl No matter what time Of the year it is I can easily imagine Worst ways to go . |
