This is the blue bird
That is the persimmon tree
And the waving sea
Sun is in her morning bath
With a pink rose and green tea

What is that yonder?
Oh, It’s my dream

Bao~
And your 'dream' is lovely too~

Couldn't help but notice the reference to the Persimmon Tree ... Bill and I have about 30 of them growing on our land~
I make a really GOOD Persimmon Cake~

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

And I can't recall if I have tasted persimmon (I don't think I even spelled it right, huh?)

Sometimes simplicity is just the right note!

Enjoyed.

What about them poem writers
Ain't they fine?
Writin' down words
And makin' them rhyme

Wanna be poem writer?
Got a little muse?
Write a little diddy
Like I tried for youse

I wondered about "persimmon" and I found out that we call it "khaki or loto" and I love it.

Thirty, dear Marge, wow!

And I love your poem, dear Drauntz. The essentials of a dream of peace, glimpses of Nature in harmony.

Beautiful.

Love,
Margherita

Persimmons are a traditonal fruit at Japanese holiday get-togethers, at least in California, my original home state. Sigh, bluebirds and the sea....I miss that beautiful sea scenery! I truly enjoyed the aromatic and tasty  visual imagery in this sweet write!

I really like this Drauntz. My only suggestion would be to maybe re-think the title but that's just me. Good work! Cheers  - Ed
