My Dad was abusive to his children at times, and there came a time when I realized that not only was I angry with him but I was angry with my Mom for not intervening in a more positive manner...she seemed to accept him as he was...and her children suffered as a result... irregardless of the things we suffered as children, we can create our world based upon the solid priciples of love, caring, acceptance and forgiveness...a worthy struggle that will benefit us and those affected by us...James |
