great and mighty, tall, forseeing over the land, Many seeds she will plant, many moons will pass, golden are her dreams. Standing, firmly rooted, by the living waters, kind to natures offspring. She speaks to the wind, and it carrys her name, above the pink clouds. Into the midnight of dark, where the lone wolf hears, her call, Her blood is of the Cherokee, born into the land of freedom, but bound by the love of her people. She stands for what she believes, her heart spun of gold, many journeys await her. As she sleeps, the bad dreams are held, inside the dreamcatcher. The good ones remain, where she protects the land, and her people go free. The best dream, is last, where a love, made of earth, of wind, water and fire, Rebirths her soul into his, the flaming phoenix rising, flying to destinations unkown. J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.” |
