the three of us were just sitting there

         all we could do was stare

there was a fragrance in the morning air

a pleasure that wasn't there before

            we couldn't ignore it

the last thread, she swore i tore it

but there we were holding to it while cuddling each other in bed

            and then it happened

that dreadful rappin'

despite a nite we both adored

i was hoping with all my might that the heartbeat tappin'

                 outside

couldn't write Eve's lore any more descriptively than me

and no matter how unwilling my heart, i'd set her free if ......

eve :

                  hey Howard, there's a FedEx guy out here

                  you've got to see this ..... it's ......

howard :

                                            [nervous]

                  i'm coming, my bumblebee .........

                  i'm ........ what??? ......
