“Desert Rose” So warmly stands the shifting sands as far as one may see and ancient runes beneath soft dunes may lie so silently Out in the glare a wonder rare in gentle sweet repose outshines the grand Nevada land a lovely Desert Rose . |

MoonShadow Images conjured up so vast in two stanzas of perfect poetry. First Stanza brought echo's of Shelly's Ozymandus to me.... Ivor The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last. |

Ivor... indeed I am a fan of Shelly and 'Ozymandus' is one of my favorites. LeeJ... This humble poem pales in the shadow of the beauty of the Desert Rose. Nancy... there are indeed three.. the floral Adeniumob... the geological Gypsum... yet the most beautiful of them all is the Desert Rose with a soul. Lady Kate... I am sure you can. RDB... You may if you are as blessed as I have been. Thank you all for lovely respons the shared glow is rewarding. MoonShadow . |

For all of the adversity a desert can give? She will still spill beauty and we are most fortunate if we are but an observer. Well done, MS. |
