You are a shadow Of flying eagle escaped Out snowy mountain You are a groovy dream Of little cloud Sauntering Into blue ocean You are a thunder Quietly crawling among rocks Stealing ardent kiss And as elfish moon Fused into the lightening In dark paradise Of serenity screams out While silenced by the wave Or you are the poet Melted in sizzling passion But still carry your ink When you pen Ice soars liquid birds Flutter toward burning verse By a cute crab’s words (Kindly remind you, 8 pens) Rhyming bubbles Urchin dabbles Winged carol Horse on squirrel Paged beluga Lined Orca Blooming of tropical Aplysia Humming of deep sea fantasia While your mind pursues Venus rises in Satin Blue. ************************ "The Standard Octopus The Octopus is a wily beast < A wily beast is he ; And his tentacles are long and strong, And they reach beyond the sea ; But when he would get beneath his paw The old Jayhawker crew, Like Gilroy's kite they made him fly Until he reached the blue. The Octopus is a wise old beast A wise old beast is he; And he has outwitted men and states, And nations long called free ……………… __J. M. Cavaness." http://skyways.lib.ks.us/poetry/juleps/ |

Drauntz~ Neat !! You've put some very imaginative ideas in this one~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
