     will i ever be her main feature

instead of her main creature?

Will my luxury train ever reach her

when she's made it so plain

that no teacher unwilling to drink a little champagne

could ever halt her campaign

                to refrain

from calling me her candy cane

if only I was Trivial in my Pursuit to stimulate her brain

we’d still be in cahoots and still have plenty to gain

              from talking

But then you wouldn't be you, would you? You'd be what she wants you to be. And you'd like her to take you for yourself. Sometimes you can't get what you need. I like the multiple rhymes in this one.
