I’ve seen the future in my madness Dance its fingers through my hair Drag me to the edge of never And hold me screaming there. All the faceless ghosts of maybe Cracking smiles into a frown Draw me closer to forever Then slowly drag me down. Today is raining on tomorrow See the droplets in my eyes? Glistening they spell my fortune Who'll kiss them into lies? |

I can't single out one or two lines gripped me. They all held me hostage to your poem. Wow. A |

Oh I do like the images in this one. And unlike my stuff, which does one image and then embroiders on it, you do image, image, image; and then your language is evocative and spare, also. Very well done. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
