Rivers of mountain and plain Rushing down valley and gorge Fresh from his snow topped mountains Bearing gifts of berries and blossom Green leaves and dark branchs Shouting down the canyons Leaping between the rocks Echoing from the banks Sweeping all before him Eager for her embrace His lover awaits him Lanquid on the plain Shimmering in the heat Idle and slow moving Listless and waiting. She begins to move Rising and parting Eager for his entering Mingling and mating Two are one Bringing new life For village and farm arthur |
