Hi to all my pip friends!!, it's been a long time since i last posted...after some holidays i'm back. with one of my most recent poems. here we go, One Night in the Forgotten Capital Destroyed buildings a complete mess the forgotten capital is in ruins you can't figure out what happened you can't figure out when it happened and why old houses lie in ruins inside of them there are mementos of their past owners pictures, books almost ruined too for some reason the stars are brighter than everywhere else the forgotten capital is lightened by the stars dead ends everywhere only one road remains intact the main building's road where the city authorities used to work the main building the simbol of hope the simbol of faith the simbol of patriotism the building is intact as if it was protected by god or as if it wasn't there when the chaos began on it's entrance you can read a very old sign that somehow looks brand new when lightened by the stars it says 'governments rise, governments fall, in this building resides the people's hope and the people's faith, as long as it remains intact the city will be rebuilt over and over until the very end' suddenly i heard a noise the city was being rebuild or i guess i should say, reborn people returned to their lives and the stars brightened even more one night in the forgotten capital i discovered that faith and hope can never be destroyed as long as they reside in the people's hearts |

An interesting eloquent read, dear Denise! Your captivating words hold truth, may more and more humans awaken to this truth. Love, Margherita |
