Where have you gone & why did you leave?
I was just starting to understand you.
I've given up your frivolities.
Don't ask to come back, it's too late.
Wisdom & insight have taken your place.
Your chair is full, there's no room at the table.

Run along & play now...

how wonderful to put youth in a poem. the lost time.

he will come back  and as usual sit on the table. and he is always the student of Wisdom & insight

Youth may be gone, but the opportunity to play is still there and I seize it.

Lovely piece!

Love,
