I sit within my ebony tower (Once ivory now in corruption Due to environmental pollution) Attempting to wield power (As if the consideration Is worth any evaluation) And find myself lost inside (Pray what shall I do My kingdom for a corkscrew) Turned about within the shadows I hide (No interest in turning on the light Comfortable with artificial night) So I look not through these closed windows Creeping soft into the morrow Gloom (Gloom) |
