Jen, this is very beautiful poem. very emotional. It is rain or rain for spirit (as good poems, songs, books) all can clean our minds and life up the soul to a higher level.

enjoyed the poem and the picture of the lady in  red.

Huan Yi~ It is who I am... That is me in that picture.... not who I wish to be...

It was taken at my cabin... while I was enjoying nature... and taking in its tranquility...
The poem is a reflection of my state of mind at that moment....

Drauntz~  I find tranquility in expression, in art, in reading a book... or other peoples words...   The rain is my one of my favorites, other than writing..

Thank you so much for your words

I'm not one easily given to lavishing major 'compliments'....

but, I find this 'write' truely SUPERB!
[grandly emotive...finely stated!]

much, MUCH applause!!

I too love the rain....

I don't often 'double comment' on a write...
but, I hope this 'reply' post brings this poem
back to the top of the 'P.I.P.' queue so that,
hopefully...more folks will notice and read it!

v. fine write!

It's a bit difficult to read your words (I guess the resolution is different on different computers... or maybe I'm just old? *G*) I know some poets have solved this dilemma by reposting the poem part of the presentation directly beneath... maybe something to consider?

That said... it's more than worth the effort... This is superb!!!

Thank you ... i will be reposting this poem soon... with the picture... but the words will be more on the surface.. not blended into the picture.  It will be easier to read..

I do enjoy the rain so much....
