Incandescent Love I walk...unfrequented ways (where flowers sing their silent songs) with the scent of music too deeply felt, and the pain of every moment dying (that shall not come again), past a broken chapel where sterile ‘gods’ are sleeping mid sunbeams tumbling in the dust. As I’ve grown old and tired of this roaming world, (which mixes mud and sapphires in sad, relentless dreams) I seek...only to make one last covenant with time, that I shall not drown in the depths of wasted words, until I burn but once.... with an incandescent Love, when the rose and flame become one! |
