The bullets, Ran near, As trees bristled, To the sky that parted, On this fateful day. Dreams shattered, As each falls, To the screams, Bellowed from the Western skies. Families torn, As their hearts, Will never, Touch, Laugh, And cry together. On this fateful day, A million words, Echoes a campus full of silence. On this fateful day, I cry a deep silence. |

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who are hurting, angry, scared. To all of those who have lost a loved one at Virginia Tech. I live in Virginia and I am two hours away from Virginia Tech. I have been there several times and my children have visited with field trips, not only were there college students there, alot of area gradeschools and middle schools take field trips to VT. Poetry helps the soul heal, by bleeding out our feelings unto paper! |
