eve :

                            i thought I’d be sad

                     but I was glad this  Valentine's Day

minister :

                          why?  A kiss from a lad?

                    i thought he went away

eve :

                    you mean my grad? he did

minister :

                    what happened?

                    were you distraught?

eve :

                                    i was mad

                    but he started rappin’

minister :

                    so you caught him last May

                    and your dad?

                                was he clappin’ ?

eve :

                    he was wrought

minister :

                               what did he say?

eve :

                    he bought our mappin’

minister :

                                  so you taught

eve :

                                   now he adds

minister :

                    were you tappin’ ?

eve :

                                    all the way

minister :

                    fingers snappin’ huh?

eve :

                                  well we fought

                    but the good times still linger

                                    the most
