I Fly I connect the dots in the scribbles of myself crossing through things still there as I live my poetry here it truly is where I am between this line and that one working out some wording that fits the true definition of whom it is I am color seems beyond me in a fingertips touch at times in the black and white but I am in comfort there even when I seem quiet you do not like my quiet it is uneasy and worries you you say that I have a heart that bleeds in ink with what it takes to fly floating free within that voice the song of an untamed bird on wind beyond onion skin depth perception has never been a strong suit in flight I just did not judge the distance and now after you spoke so sadly of my silence that I now realize how deep in me words and I truly are so from now on words and I again shall fly “but I'm so hard to handle I'm selfish and I'm sad”…Joni Mitchell [This message has been edited by 1slick_lady (04-11-2007 10:56 PM).] |
