. Green Eyes The cat sits on the front steps Lord of the neighborhood Two blocks to the east A little league game is being played There are cheers As some boy hits the ball It is so rare That such a wash of stars Should fill the sky Crickets chirping in the lawn Neither of us Want to say goodnight Nothing is certain That much we’ve learned And summer isn’t long . |

look at the cat and think about fame look at the boys and think about game lost stars? lights claim lost focus? lover's shame. Dreaming crikets and Equator's summer may bring "US" not in the same frame. and 99(goodnight) always has 88(byebye) to blame. enjoyed as always. naturaly smooth. |
