This might be a re-post. Im not keeping good track of my poems old and new. A soul that's perfect in grace and pure, A heart of tenderness and depth, A beauty that no man could ever endure, Except the chosen she has kept. For her- her chosen on love rides high, And lives through her - his day and night, But her love for him deceives with lies, His loss of love was unseen by sight. So for her to allow for him to love, To caress her beauty and soul to dwell, Meant that he loved no greater love, His life, was heaven - he knows not hell. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |
