Kansas should have taught me better not to take life for granted, to just go with the flow and know things wouldn't change by how I ranted. I should know by now that poetry doesn't just come all on its own, because a poet once a poet can't be a poet if alone. But all I know is I miss you. Taking stuff for granted is my style. So maybe I should go back to Kansas and stay awhile. |
