The Needs of the Heart

If I say
that I want to be
more accepting and
caring and forgiving

my actions should be
in agreement with
my spoken words.

What is desire,
if not the acting out
of the wants and the
needs of the heart.

James, I read this three times.

I made a change, here and there,
in my mind, to the display of words
set out...

but overall, the theme
speaks for itself.
