Nameless wanting to state a change When you want the same but advocate difference do you need a name? Who would be distinct without definitions less the leash free to roam nameless minus a bone. after all we're born without names who cares what you're called in the end minor details walk covered by aimless talk So they live differently stepped on and off in cotton clubs on roofless terraces with the same cocktail glass sometimes mistreated greeted as homeless... once a dog less a bone If someone wanted to say come on lets advocate change but keep constancy we would promote radical change who me? lover of outdoor cookouts and mowed golf courses no place for foreign headscarves for freedom speakers might as well roam free like the wild dog without a home When you want the same cause change means pain you stood in cordless lines your leash enshrined you were freed from black widow grasps is distinction important can I remain without a name?.. forever roam minus a home stateless nameless [This message has been edited by wordwizard (03-24-2007 10:28 PM).] |

Well, the first thing that came to my mind as I read your intriguing poem was the adage, "Change is as good as a rest." lol I often have to put my thinking cap on when I read your word wizardry! Happy spring hugs, Linda |
