Be silent when an acorn is flying down On the container of wisdom and wonder. Be silent when you are lying down On the mattress of a pea sleeping under. Be silent when your mind is taken. Be silent when your heart is shaken. Be silent when your dream is broken. Be silent when your own is forsaken. Be silent when you are in frustration Be silent when you are in desperation. Be silent when you are in irritation. Be silent when you are in obstruction. If you are not, You will get accusation Of blowing every single item out of proportion. Ha ha ha Fascination!!!!! A requirement of being a woman? No. |

Thanks for the advice I need it!!! To be quiet, peaceful and calm is to be still...to achieve that is harder than being a woman!!! ~~~kingsangel~~~ |

Cry out with femininity Cry out with female charm Cry out with your fertility Cry out with words that calm For silence bears acceptance And silence makes you slaves The silence broke by suffragettes Was silence of old days. In this battle of the sex's In this battle no side wins For a battle cry of silence Masks a multitude of sins But a cry of sexual passion Or a shared cry out in grief Joins the sides that were competing In a union of relief. |

DrAuntZ~ Thanks for the email note in reply to my question on your name~ Now ... not known here for my 'silence' I guess I can't tell if it applies or not~ Hmmm ? .... I am quiet ... but NEVER silent~ This is one from ponderville ... so I will~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

I have learned that silence isn't always best (golden as some will say). I'm not as quiet as I use to be. |

I REALLY like the following lines (and image) in particular: “Be silent when an acorn is flying down On the container of wisdom and wonder.” I would dearly LOVE to find that “container of wisdom and wonder” I must also acknowledge the rather fine comment/‘reply’ post from ‘ivordavies’: especially: “Cry out with femininity Cry out with female charm Cry out with your fertility Cry out with words that calm For silence bears acceptance And silence makes you slaves The silence broke by suffragettes Was silence of old days. But a cry of sexual passion Or a shared cry out in grief Joins the sides that were competing In a union of relief.” Applause! |
