For all the beer And laughter There is a silence In these men With memories And numbers On their arms Even sons Can not pierce that wall Between now And the then they knew When young Of breaking stones And beatings That left more than one On that ground Never again to stir Or those showers Into which Innocent battalions marched Never to return . |

Even sons Can not pierce that wall Between now And the then they knew When young Some are trying to protect... others can't bear to remember... You make our hearts weep for both... and for the sons. |
