ashes from a cigar falling like snowflakes off an open balcony rocking teeter-tot waves falling silently to the ground on billowy puffs of smoke like unfinished dreams and lackluster plans burn the ashes white and the world goes on not noticing, not caring not even seeing its plunge while somewhere, someone lights the hope of another and ashes once again fall |

Nicely done. Really liked the word usage in this one. Some really nice metaphors used as well. Look forward to seeing more. |

Nicely metaphorical...about the traces, or ecological footprint they leave behind..to disturb lives as I see it.. |

"like unfinished dreams and lackluster plans burn the ashes white" I adore how you weave the "ashes" into hope - "lights the hope of another." WOW ... great writing! always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same |

thank you all for your kind comments inspiration for this one came from one of my favorite tv programs--Boston Legal (once a cap'n kirk fan, always a cap'n kirk fan) from one of their scenes on the balcony contemplating life with their signature cigars |
