See me. All of me. Not just the outside, but what lies within. Descry intricacy of thought mixed with contrast of heart; the ups and downs highs and lows, laughter and tears joys and woes. Completely composed in a package of imperfect, I am one of many parts; a vital composition that truly starts past the surface under the skin the core of my soul is where I begin. I may not always think like you or see things from your point of view, still, I see with open mind; look much deeper so that you might find me, the all of me. I am not so different from you, or you. I'll never be perfect and that's the truth; I feel love and I feel pain, and I have stood in God's healing rain. I am, who I am in all of my complexity, and I shall never want for more than for you to see me. |

Yes, you are simply complex . . . as you've shown so beautifully in this poem. H, Robert |

"I feel love and I feel pain, and I have stood in God's healing rain. and I shall never want for more than for you to see me." Wow. In the late 60's or early 70's I would be saying Groovy and cool. Great write. Love the emotion. JL Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. ~Jesus Christ |

I am not so different from you, or you. I'll never be perfect and that's the truth You have laid out the complex with a simplicity that allows one to see that many things are not the unknown after all, and that "different" is often non-existant. I do like this very much Caroline He who wants a rose must respect the thorn. |
