Light of Life.

A light shone round our Saviour's head,
the light glowed from inside.
This inner light lit up the sky
as he took his final ride.

The light of God is light of love
it bathes all humankind.
The flames of hell this light repel
and soothes the troubled mind.

To see the light with human eye
is open to us all.
It cleans the spirit, warms the heart,
and lifts us when we fall.

Reflect the living light of life
and make it shine out bright,
for light that shines straight from our soul
will clear our darkest night.
