phallic flame frenzy, consuming charcoaled embers in frieze stained with fire-light fury emanating heat in cycles residue glowing, luminosity showing ashes of logs and leaves lurking midst the fanning of glow-dust licking at the lapping waves shadows signing themselves like deafened embodiments of sooted billows against the night sky—returning like chimneys churn their smoke laden with cinders consumed finding lodging in dream-like fantasies as children blowing soap bubbles of imagination on a dark palette night sky glistens with war-paint smoke blankets of signals ashen the sky and street lamp ghosts dance in the night turning dreams into shadowy billows and fire touches fire in phallic flame frenzy against the night sky in sweeps of the chimney |

Deserves more air time...grin ..."and fire touches fire in phallic flame frenzy against the night sky in sweeps of the chimney" Vivid and powerful ending! I liked this every time I read it |
