Kittyfied A tiny fuzzy ball of fur The family thinks the world of her She goes racing down the hall Bouncing like a rubber ball She’s very easily amused A ball of string is all that’s used She rubs your leg to show affection And hisses at her own reflection Even I think that she’s sweet Except for when she bites my feet She is ornery that’s for certain Especially when she climbs a curtain And I’ve vowed to get rid of her When she scratches on the furniture But then she’ll come and nuzzle me When I sit down to watch TV The anger is all put to rest When she comes to lie upon my chest And starts to purr her kitten song As if she has done nothing wrong No matter just how hard I’ve tried I’m afraid that I’ve been kittyfied |
