I don't know why I wait, sitting up all night, waiting for you to call until the break of light. You always told me it wasn't fair, it's something I always knew, but I'm just now starting to feel it, this whole weekend without you... waiting...waiting... anticipating... thinking...drinking... then, at last, the sinking. I can't write the poems no more. I guess your wife called you home. The inspiration's gone you see, and tonight I realize I can't be just a side-thing, I'm alone. And yeah, you said you love me when I was moving away- making it just hard enough, making me want to stay. But I should have stayed in Kansas instead of coming back to you, you said it isn't fair to me sitting here waiting so long on you... it's something that I always knew... but I'm just now feeling it. |

I know how it feels to wait and not know, I just heard from someone I really love recently...although he has told me he loves me, I haven't told him yet. But hearing from him as given me PERMA smiles all day!!! ~~~kingsangel~~~ |
