I never thought I could feel as I do Love inside Only for you I never thought I could cause you such pain Yet before my eyes The truth remains I never thought You would be here right now Searching for answers Of where, when and how Where do we go? from this point we are now When will we know? And how do we find a new beginning? I never thought That we might not last But here we are now With only a past I never thought Love could hurt me so much Transcending the fear Lost without touch I never thought You are part of my sleep Pressed against me Wrapped up so deep I learn here each day That I needed you more But I never thought Not before You were gone |

I like this one, the meter is smooth, and you have a consistent vision. I especially like the ending. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

You tug at my heart with this...it's hard to think about the times we just don't think...and then its too late. Thanks for reminding me to think first. |
