Not up to the sky for insightful views nor down to the depths for depressing news wisdom breaks out horizontally and escapes from the need in me. It travels the hills of “great, look at me”, the forest of old and forbearing trees, and sleeps in a cave of “couldn’t care less” that answers are sought to life’s awful mess. In track of the signs like an Indian brave feet deep in mud that hinders the way I battle the slopes and the shade of no hope with a mind’s so limited scope. Help and I shout to the ether unheard because first and foremost there must be the word but there’s no relax on the shore of this need next to the fierce and dismissive sea. Hands palm up I’m a beggar it seems; no wisdom dwells in the likes of me! Helen / 26 February 2007 |

Helen, I am putting the palms of my hands together and clapping for this uniquely expressive piece of writing!!! Me thinks ye be wiser than ye thinks! Loving hug, Linda |

Hi and thanks, Linda. There are some things in life that we can never have enough of and I think wisdom is one of them. Take care Lady Light! |

"It travels the hills of “great, look at me”, the forest of old and forbearing trees, and sleeps in a cave of “couldn’t care less” that answers are sought to life’s awful mess." Interesting write, I enjoyed the full "scope" of it. always seeking joy, adventure and romance and wishing you find the same |
