Healing Waters The silver chord of life it’s true, though seldom seen by me or you, connects our body to our soul, and joins our spirit to the whole. A glimpse of it we all can see, when silver waters flow quite free with happiness straight from the heart, in joy so strong, with tears we part. Again, in times of heartfelt strife you see the chord that gives us life, as silver streams pour down our cheeks, the sadness from our soul now leaks. These waters flow to heal our pain, to ease the burdens of life’s game. They clear the pathways for the soul, a silver chord that joins the whole. Ivor G Davies The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last. |

I'm sure we all with one accord Our dear friend Ivor will applaud For surely we can ill afford To just ignore the silver chord For if we merely keep it stored (Like a sword) We might get bored! And become maud .........lin !! "Smile.though your heart is aching" (Charlie Chaplin) Nice one Ivor....I like this very much. Thank you. The greatest thing you can do for another is not just to share your own riches...but to reveal to him his own. |

Rod, Thank you for your rhyming response, I love responses in rhyme that compliment my poetry. Alison I am glad you see the poetic license I have used in comparing the silver chord of life to tears, although they do both arise from the same source. I may be getting too serious at the moment and will have to post some counterbalance to offset this shortly! Ivor |
