You Are Free

Yes, you are free to give homage to her,
     of which this country rightly deserves
     and of which you proudly serve
Yes, you are free to ignore her,
     She’ll stand with or without you
     through dark skies or blue
Yes, you are free to embrace her
     this country of the brave and free
     a privilege extended to you and me
Yes, you are free to reject her
     it’s your freedom of choice in this land
     although she doesn’t understand
But,…. YOU ARE NOT FREE TO DISRESPECT HER.
     So, get on the bus,
     forget about us,
     And don’t let the door hit you on your way out.
