It was a place I used to visit,
In what seems a distant past,
A land and life exquisite,
I suppose too good to last.

Since then I have been searching,
Like a starling for a grubb,
Until I came a-lurching,
Back to the corner pub.

Thanks for your kind words. I was beginning to think the pub was in lockdown or closed and been burned down for the insurance money.

You're welcome. I usually try to check the activity in every "room" if I can. A few of them don't get as much traffic as the Open forums. Occasionally there are delightful treasures in places like this pub.

Not many Corner Pubs left here in London Ontario… I’ll have to follow the Starlings to find one.
