Fighting the Age Battle Although I vowed it wouldn’t happen, Age is creeping up on me. All my friends are now great-grandmas. I don’t know how that can be. My beautician and I decided To stop coloring my hair. We had both of us forgotten What shade was hiding under there. Imagine her excitement And indeed my great dismay That what ever hue had been there Had completely gone away. Now my friends are sympathetic. They think I must have had a fright, And it was so terrifying It turned my hair white over night. By: Joyce Johnson 3/28/13 |

Totally awesome, dear Joyce! Thank you for the smiles. I decided a year ago to let my hair be natural ... and I love it now. Just today a friend who visited saw me for the first time "in white" and after the first moment of surprise she found it looks good on me, but feared it would look bad on her ... Hugs. Margherita |

I love it. Your words never fail to make me smile. Thank you. May your roof never fall in and those beneath it never fall out. |
