If at one time you wouldn't believe If at one time your heart couldn't see If you really wanted to run far away I wish you could have heard me today If at one time you doubted the truth If at one time you needed some proof If you have ever believed the deniers I wish you could have felt today's sole desire Even after all the sleepless nights After all the endless torment I fight Even with darkness surrounding my mind A reason to love is all I do find A hopeless cause is all I carry with An occasional dream with sublime perfect bliss A well wish upon your family I give A hope that I may find a reason to live For if only you could see me now It would break your heart to know I have kept my vow For I meant every word softly spoken at night My heart, my soul, I gave you my life Dance on forever my beautiful friend In that other life our past we will amend A shooting star falls from the sky And I heave another eternal sigh For that star, as always, lights my heart anew And that star, as always, reminds me of you Pity not that destined lovers broken hearts have crossed For it is better than not to have loved and have lost Unorthodox maybe, but I grow on you. Lingering in my mind, i wonder, is it really better to never lose a love? or is it better to learn and heal, and from there... to love with all your heart, even deeper for knowing such bitter loss? Words have power, Im going to unleash the power of my soul. |
