If I must choose from God’s perfections I think I would have to say I prefer the glorious picture at beginning of the day When the air is fresh and clear and the colors bright and true, with no man-caused impurities around to spoil the view. The rosy pink of dawning painted on the Eastern sky, is so astounding that it stays with me as busy hours go by. Sunset runs a real close second to the sunrise it is true, but when its show is over it means one more day is through. My future days are fewer as the years are passing by. I’d rather have sunrise’s hello than the sunset’s bold goodbye By Joyce Johnson 10/17/11 |

A lovely view of life, and nature. I am just the opposite, I am a night person. I love that we are all so different. |

Dear Joyce A beautiful poem indeed! As great poets and poetesses before you, your poetry will be read long after the 'sunsets bold goodbye'! Love Verbena xo |
