Memory In the old days we could picnic out back, and see for miles: memory. **** Conowingo Wide Susquehanna, bird watchers, brushy-treed cliffs: In sunlight birds fly. **** Rhinos and Beetles I can imagine humans bought off not with cash, but by ideas. **** Respite Dirty hands, hot work--- I wipe away sweat with a bicep, wondering. |
