How inventive, dear Shellie!

You did choose the right place to challenge those ghosts. But don't ask me to sit there with you and all those ghostly whispers ...

Perfect senryu.

Love,
Margherita

Just found this one berney, and I am glad i did. One of my favs of yours. It says so much between the lines which is what a haiku should do.

Loved it

Lots of feelings expressed in a few words.  I admire one who can do this.  Joyce

thanks you guys!

this may be my favorite poem of mine

i've always experienced cemetaries as peaceful places.  i love to meander through looking at the history and the different periods of artwork on the headstones...

in my town there is an historical cemetary that is amazing.  back in the oldest part there is a hill with a civil war monument and unknown graves of the soldiers from that war...

sometimes i like to just go sit with those gentlemen...

thank you all for your comments

love,

shel

I enjoyed your poem. My wife and I used to live in Galveston, TX where there are a lot of old gravesites dating back to the storm of 1900- it is interesting to walk through the past.

Thanks, Melton
