Oh Lord!

I've been a hungry man
for everything that's sin,
I've left many broken fences
just every place I've been.

I know I must have children
quite possibly three or four,
there again on thinking back
it could even be some more.

Oh Lord!

Hobo, thief, two timing con,
jailed more times than I remember
I hope forgiveness is in your heart
as I have quickly reached December.

I'm tired, so worn and lonely Lord
more than words can ever say,
and feeling hypocritical
that I have the nerve to pray.

Oh Lord!

I find comfort in the Bible
My dear mother gave to me,
a gift whilst I was prison bound
when I was twenty three.

It's words are somewhat faded
pages torn and cover bent,
I can quote it verse to verse
and haveā€¦each time I did repent.

Oh Lord!

From you there are no secrets
for you have never left my side,
I have been such a sinner,
but was for the likes of me you died.

I feel it is my time Lord,
so I have taken up my position
Waiting by the train tracks
For the Train of my Transition.

A Caucasian male has been found by The Old Mill railway line,
a line not used in over thirty years.

No identification was found other than a well-worn Bible,
on the fly leaf an inscription reads 'To my precious son,
remember God loves you and so do I ~ Momma' it was dated 1952.

Death was natural causes, age and hard-living
appearing to be a big factor.

Anyone who might have information please notify
your local Police Department.

You really got into the mind of this unknown man and very likely these were some of his last words.  So glad to see you back here, Spirit.  Love, Joyce

Thanks Joyce...the phrase Train of Transition kept running through my mind so I had to write something to get it out of my head
