" PETS GO TO HEAVEN " Just like our loved ones Pets are important too My how we loved them and nurtured them And when they 're gone we feel blue Always their spirit lives on Just like ol' Farley in For Better or For Worse Perhaps you've heard/felt their presence It's something you don't rehearse They are a part of God's Garden They frolick and give kisses and play They conitinue to give all the Angels and souls A delightful meaning to their day We do miss them We considered them family and a friend They never judged Just listened, well sometimes But with them You could depend In pictures and video Perhaps poetry and song Forever in our hearts and memories They forever will linger on One -two -three-four Five-six-seven All together Let's reinforce Our good kind pets go to Heaven... © PurplePenButterfly~2009 |

So lovely and true. I am sure you are right, they do go to heaven. I have a few up there too and as you say so beautifully, the connection continues. Love, Margherita |

A human can get closer to an animal than another human due to the unconditional love. The sad thing is these poor friends cannot speak or we would surely save more. Well done. |

I have had pets that were really Heaven worthy. I don't think they have a separate doggy or kittty heaven because they would not be happy without us and vice versa. Joyce |

It does tell us in the Bible in Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3, Vs. 19 and 20 that animals also go to Heaven. That has always been a source of great comfort to me, when we lose a dear animal friend. I enjoyed your poem. Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
