Mom and Dad have gone to war, To protect the USA from being poor Gas prices , Oil continue to go up It's the Terrorists fault They just don't give up Our Economy, Recession is in such a mess Real Estate Prices too I must confess. Spiral downward than they used to be. Grandma and Grandpa take care of me Mom and Dad have gone to Iraq In the Military now They are forced to attack I hope they come home soon from Iraq I want them to come back really fast. |

It should be against the rules and may be, I didn't think of that. I got the idea for writing this poem from a childrens book that has a little girl who's parents have gone to war and she writes them everyday. I was so touched by the book that I wrote the poem |
