To the Journey Death, Is! the portal from one life to another, a wall, the end of a beginning and the beginning of an end, an evolution, a metamorphasis, a divided highway leading to infinity, a linear, yet, convoluting path, following into a realm void of yesterday's light, igniting, growing, rotting, decaying, and digesting in the bellies of maggots. Yes or not! a powerful paradox, Death, Is! to the journey. |

aaaah, the tree fell and trillium heard it fall. that is good! i believe the trip should not be a dark adventure. it is good that family members such as you and your husband discuss such issues. i have discussed with others, myself, not only philosophically but from a practical standpoint, too. i have found it to be an interesting subject...the subject, of that specific point in life, referenced in the poem... and the journey taking us there! joyce,enjoyed...life begets life which is something that death can't replicated and in pub #3, poems beget poems and comments which is a good thing. thank you, joyce, for sturring the pot! |
