oh, yes! adolescent "hot flashes". I remember them well. 'cept my poems were originally about lannie and then they evolved into dianne, jo ann and so many others. that was over 50 years ago. oh, how time flies. i'm an old man, now, but can still remember puppy love. a few years ago i found the garth brooks song, "unanswered prayers", to have a very special meaning when i reread some of my earlier writings that were rediscovered in my mother's attic. fifty years from now, you will probably feel the same way but for now, seize the moment for your 15 minutes of fame. however, remember! there is more than one kimberly in the ocean of love. |
