Open your eyes to the sunrise
With a brand new day to realize
The need to tame beasts of wild
To love as one of God's child

For each sunrise that we live
And our thanks we should give
To love as we would like love
With help from Lord God above

Leave all the past to yesterday
Our thoughts will lead us astray
With a brand new day to realize
Open your eyes to the sunrise
