The Scent of Ester This morning, after forty years, the seal was broken and the cap removed. The scent of ester penetrated my nostrils. An orgasmic glow engulfed my body. In an instant, the spirit that was Jack, was gone! consumed within the hot sand. At that precise moment, I realized the glass bottle in my hand was empty. The soldier was dead!
