It seems as though for just one hour We were the best of friends Nothing could ever tear us apart We’d be together till the end I never knew quite what I had But I guess it doesn’t matter now I’ll never ask you why But I’d like to ask you how How could you take me for granted? I was always there for you I still am, even though our friendship’s no longer true blue I don’t agree with the choice you made Or the influence you’re under The way we’ll be Because of each other Is really something to ponder I’ll never forget our friendship Any of the good times we had I’m going to miss the you I knew I have just one more question Before after just two years we part You know that this will hurt me more than you And believe me now it’s true. Are you someone else now? Or are you still the you I knew? |
