This is my first poem in this forum, so i hope you like it. It's kind of old, and could probably use some work, so any ideas? All i want to do today Is to somehow find a way... A way to keep you next to me A way to somehow make you see. All i want to do today Is find a way to make you stay. Maybe it wasn't meant to be But just in case you shouldn't leave. All i want to do today Is tell you the words i long to say. But destiny keeps my mouth sealed I can't believe that this is real. All i want to do today Is keep you here another day. Though i know life moves on I don't believe we could be done. All i want to do today Give me a chance if you may. I need a miracle from above To make you fall back into love. So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart. |
